Einstein – “We can’t solve problems…”

Image“We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.” – Albert Einstein

Ever get stuck with a problem u can’t seem to find a way out of? The problem is not the problem; the problem is the ‘same kind of thinking’. A critical factor of creative problem-solving is the process by which we take to find solutions. And 95% of people utilise what we call ‘familiar context routing’. It is a series of patterned thinking, behaviour or responses we carve for ourselves, especially when we re-trace the pathway back to the genesis of problems, in our efforts to try to solve them. This type of thinking never helps us break out of the limiting context of our problems, and we fail to tap into external resources.

Today, let’s remind ourselves to utilise Breakthrough Thinking patterns to solve problems. Let’s see problems from different perspectives, let’s break our typical patterns of reflection, let’s adopt a different Perceptual Position, and learn to tap into fresh resources…

Creatively yours…Glenn Lim
